Great Pyrenees

Picture
Great Pyrenees are working dogs. All of our dogs are trained from puppies to be
socialized with kids (human kids and goat kids), adults, goats, sheep, chickens,
cats and horses. It is imperative that, if you want a guard dog to  watch your chickens,
you have to train them when they are young. We want our
dogs to be an asset to your farm so we have that element of training for the
puppies. These dogs have a long, silky coat which doesn't matt up at all, and allows
them to handle the hot summers beautifully. They are tall and lean,
reaching 100 lbs. Parents are on site to inspect. You are  also welcome to come visit
to see how the dogs handle being around the livestock and chickens.
We would not recommend these dogs for an apartment,  small home, or yard.
They need a job and room to run. They have laid back temperaments and are very sweet and loving to people. If a Pyrenees is not
allowed to become well-accustomed to livestock when they are young,  then if they are ever rehomed to a farm,
they may have a tendency to kill the livestock. This puts him in great jeopardy, so we recommend starting Pyrenees off
with their natural intended job of being a guard dog.

We are expecting two litters of puppies
Samson x Hadassa
Samson x Ester
The past litters have been all white with long, silky hair, great temperaments...and very large. We only place our Pyrenees on farms as working dogs. They love to work and stay up all night to guard while you sleep.
