We have a small herd of Nubians. We are striving for excellent health and focus on traits that keep them healthy for years of serving us and, of course, excellent milk and butterfat for all the ice cream and cheese we make. We use as much natural deworming as possible, and use non-gmo feeds. We grow our own hay which is kept natural, without chemicals. We use CAE prevention and test annually for common diseases, as well as vaccinate them. We allow our goats to free range on the farm with their trusty Pyrenees, Sampson, and the Llama, Karl. The goats are very happy, healthy and spoiled.
